As a partner in the EU-funded Lebanon Innovate Program, led by Berytech and supported by ELCIM at the Industrial Research Institute Lebanon, Beirut Arab University (BAU) is strengthening its innovation ecosystem and empowering researchers to transform knowledge into real-world impact.
Since 2024, Lebanon Innovate has supported BAU through awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions designed to help faculty members turn their research ideas into opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and explore pathways toward commercialization.
Beyond establishing its Technology Transfer Office (TTO), the program has supported BAU in developing and formalizing its Intellectual Property (IP) Policy, creating a stronger framework to protect innovations and support their journey from the laboratory to society.
Through this collaboration, BAU is fostering a culture of innovation where research excellence goes beyond publications, enabling discoveries to become patents, solutions, and opportunities that address real-world challenges.
