Lebanon Innovate Soft Landing Mission, Led by ELCIM with EBN Support, Concludes Strategic Engagement at SEADE R&I Summit and EBN Congress in Spain and South of France
As part of the Lebanon Innovate program, ELCIM (Euro-Lebanese Centre for Industrial Modernisation) at the Industrial Research Institute led a soft landing mission to Barakaldo, Spain, enabling Lebanese startups and innovators to engage with international innovation ecosystems.
The delegation participated in the SEADE R&I Summit and EBN Congress 2025, which brought together stakeholders from across Africa and Europe to explore trends in Digital Technology and Clean Energy. Lebanese representatives took part in key discussions on topics such as Green Hydrogen, Circular Economy, Open Innovation, and corporate-startup collaboration.
Through EBN’s support, the team established valuable connections with innovation actors and explored future cooperation in areas critical to Lebanon’s industrial and sustainable development. Delegates also gained insight into European best practices in entrepreneurship support and ecosystem building.
This initiative highlights Lebanon’s commitment to global collaboration and innovation-driven growth. The networks initiated and knowledge gained will inform upcoming efforts to enhance support structures for local startups and SMEs.
