CALL FOR AN EXPERT
To Develop and Design the Final Report

For the benefit of the MAIA-TAQA EU co-funded project under the ENI CBC Med Programme

ELCIM at the Industrial Research Institute, the Lebanese partner in the EU co-funded project under the ENI CBC Med Programme MAIA TAQA project, is seeking the services of an external service provider supporting the team in regards to the development and design of the Final Report.

The Call for Expression of Interest (EoI) is taking place within the project MAIA-TAQA under the activity 2.4.2 - Final Report

Required tasks and services to develop and design the final report include the following:
The selected graphic designer will be responsible for creating a visually compelling and informative final report (16 pages). The report will encompass data visualizations, infographics, layout design, and other graphical elements to effectively communicate our research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and the public.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
o Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work on reports, infographics, or similar projects.
o Proficiency in relevant graphic design software and tools.
o Demonstrated ability to transform complex information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
o Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity considerations in design is a plus.
o Ability to adhere to timelines and deliver high-quality work within the stipulated deadline.

o A detailed resume highlighting relevant experience and previous design projects. A portfolio or samples of previous work that demonstrate your design capabilities.
o A brief cover letter expressing your interest in the project and your approach to creating an inclusive final report for MAIA-TAQA.

On the basis of applications received and in compliance with the stated requirements the selection committee will evaluate all received applications and service providers’ profiles (including previous works). The applications will be evaluated and accordingly subjects contracted based on the offer, previous works, and ability to fulfill requirements.
ELCIM at the Industrial Research Institute has the right to select the service provider with the specific and adequate skills required according to the evaluation of the selection committee.

Financial conditions
The value of the service will be determined based on the submitted offers and the quality of the proposed services within the budget allocated to the final report design in the project.

ELCIM at the Industrial Research Institute will use the data contained in the documentation submitted by the service providers, exclusively in the context of this selection procedure and in compliance with the rules laid down by EU Regulation 2016 / n. 679.
