Lean Manufacturing Training

On September 26, 2019, a training was held for design professionals & students interested in learning about the LEAN approach to process excellence.

They learned about the following:
5 basic principles of Lean management
Lean History and evolution
The difference between Lean and Lean six sigma
The importance of the Pull system and the one-piece flow
The impact of the layout of an office or factory on efficiency
The main Lean Tools used worldwide

The trainer was Mr Dany Elias
Mr. Elias is the founder of Sparkers Solutions. He has an extensive experience of 17 years in managing different factories in Lebanon and he is an instructor at Saint Joseph university - Faculty of Sciences where he leads a course in production & lean management for the Masters students of industrial technology - since 2008. He took 2 trainings on LEAN in San Francisco in 2011 and in 2017, he participated in a workshop on LEAN in Toyota factories- Japan. His education started with a BS in chemistry - continued to a Masters in industrial technology and then to an executive MBA
