MoU Signature with LAU

The Industrial Research Institute and the Lebanese American University agree to offer the SME’s Industrial clusters in Lebanon a set of paid services, relating to the industrial sector needs, as listed below; services are mutually provided and based on preferential rates for the benefit of the SMEs Industrial clusters in Lebanon.

The Services will be implemented within the agreed framework and will cover the following:

a. Training and skill improvement in the fields of laboratory techniques, calibration of laboratory equipment and compliance with good laboratory practices.

b. Promoting technical activities

c. Project management

d. General food analysis

e. Product and process development assignments

f. Food Quality Control

g. Establishment of food preservation protocols for food manufacturers.

h. Channelling Industrial needs in Research Product Development towards the required expertise.

i. Linking research to manufacturing enterprises, in order to reinforce collaboration between academia and manufacturing SME’s with the aim of boosting innovation.
